If a person takes certain opiates for pain management daily as well as O’barb, would this not this not impair one from gettng an ideal reading on any given eye exam? depending on the hour the test was administered?

Yes, opiates can affect your vision. Even without them your vision fluctuates throughout the day and I am sure that the closer you are to when your medication kicks in the more skewed your vision can be. I notice an inability to focus correctly and a slight blurring. Maybe a pair of glasses that can adjust this for the period you are on the meds. Especially if it is for a lifetime of management. Talk to your optometrist and see if maybe a new scrip is in order.
