First Time Contact Lenses: Are They Worth It and They Hard to Get Used to?

I’m very interested in contacts, however, my eyes are sensitive and I’m nervous that it will be hard for me to get used to. Are contacts lenses significantly better than glasses? And, if they are, how easy/hard is it to get used to?

contacts aren’t as good as glasses because eye infection wise but other then that yes. i thought at first they were really different from glasses because if you are like me and get your glasses dirty then its hard to see out of. well contacts you just blink. i think if its not that much of a perscription change i would say they are really easy to get used to. other wise then would take a little bit longer.
Contacts are not for everyone, but like everything, you have to be prepared to persevere and get used to them.
Go to an optician who is doing free trail periods. Spec Savers are great. They will insert them for you and instruct you how to do it. They then send you out for about 20 minutes so you can judge for yourself how you feel about them.
I love mine. I can see so much clearer than with my glasses. I can see perfectly and with no frame in the view line! It is lovely to feel the wind in your eyes and yet still be able to see perfectly….
Give it a try, you only have something to gain, not loose.
