For Those Who Wear Contacts??

Finally, i got some extra money to buy contact lens. The eye care place in wal mart told me that the appointment to find out my prescription is going to cost 5.00. and they said they will give me a trial pair, does the trial pair have prescription? And since the appointment cost 175, how much will i be paying including the cost of my contact lens.

the trial pairs are usually a generic rx. cost of the lenses depends on what type you buy. ask the doctor dear

yes the trial pair does have prescription

  • kanei says:

That depends on your prescription and other factors, mine cost about $100.00 for six month

I got my contacts at Walmart and the trial pair is a prescription. My contacts cost about 15 dollars for a box of 6 and they last about a month and a half each. Expect to pay at least 30 dollars for both eyes, maybe more depending on other factors.

They will give you a trial of temporary lenses. like that only last 2 weeks. And have you come back in 2 weeks to see if they are working. If your prescription needs changed they will then order you the trial of 3 month lenses (or 2 month or I don’t know what all they are I;m new to this). Now the cost all depends on your eyes, how much power is your prescription and hwo bad is your astigmatism. If you happen to be like be and have a terrible astigmatism they could cost you up to $340!! That’s what mine cost, that’s a full year of 3 month lenses. The cost all depends on your own eyes, they can’t tell you till they know, and then they have you try them for 2 weeks.
