General Contact Lens Question?
I have had contacts for a bit now and I was thinking of buying monthly ones, but I have a few questions about them.
1- Is there any known side effects?
2- if they are designed for sleeping in. is it safe to do so?
oh and if you have anymore information about them can you provide it if possible?

Side effects only happen if the contacts are dirty or in my case i’m allergic to most contact solutions. I have the contacts that last 6 months and i never take them out. sometimes my eyes get dry but once you get used to having them in for a while it shouldn’t bother you that much.

yes there is a side effect that i wish i had known about! it’s called GPC (Giant Papillary Conjunctivitis) – I suggest you Google it. It is caused by overuse of contacts and by wearing them overnight (even if they say they are "overnights"). I had monthly disposable soft contacts that were overnights and i wore them continuously for 6 months and now i’m stuck with these little bumps under my eyelids that make it impossible to wear contacts at all!! most eye doctors if not all will tell you not to wear them overnight, and most will even be against prescribing you monthly ones. 2 week disposable or dailies are the best bet. TRUST ME you don’t want GPC
