Has Anyone Lied About Not Wearing Contact Lenses at the DMV When Renewing a Lisence? Can They Really Tell?

I have always been borderline needing glasses or contacts to pass the vision test. I have to take my contacts out for a while to let my eyes adjust before taking it. I know they always ask are you wearing contact lenses. Has anyone just said no and took the test while they were in fact wearing them? Can they really tell?

If they know what to look for, they can tell. Contact lenses are not completely invisible. Someone who wears contact lenses can easily tell if someone else wears contact lenses if they are close enough.

Then again, a lot of people at the DMV just don’t care.

Technically, you can get in trouble if you get caught, but it’s one of those things that’s only illegal if you get caught.

Were you planning on driving without corrective lenses at some point anyway?

you just like at someone’s eyes from the side, and you can see a distinct bump form the contact.

i have no idea if DMV pays attention to that or not.

What possible benefit could be derived from this? Do you just like lying to keep in practice?
