Help Explaining Contact Lens Prescription and Snellen Scale?

Anyone know how a -3.50 contact prescription fits into the 20/20 Snellen scale? I know I have a -3.50 prescription, but have no idea what my 20/XXX number would be. Anyone know how to so that?

There isn’t a way to answer this question exactly…but you should be around 20/300 or so. I say around because some people that are -3.50 can see 20/150 and some can’t see worse than 20/400. It also depends on if you have cataracts or any other eye diseases/opacities that may be blurring your vision.
20/300 is around a safe bet though!

      Your contact lens power= -3.50D
How many lines can you read on the Snellen’s chart with these lenses on (while you sit in the testing chair)?
If you want 20/xxx answer without aid of contact lens then read the chart without contact lens.
If you read only the topmost alphabet, you are 20/200
If you can not read that, you are poorer than 20/200
Poorer can be 20/250 or 20/300 or 20/350 or 20/400 etc.
Usually with your kind of power, you would be around 20/250
With contact lens on, you may be reading all lines so with the lens you may be 20/20
