HELP NEEDED with Colored Contact Lenses?
Hi, I just got my colored contact lenses (freshlook colorblends) and I have it on but my vision is blurry. I had tried the sample one that was just a little tinted for a couple of days and the doc. checked my eyes and I told her that I thought it was a little big and she said it only comes in one diameter/size. But my vision was okay. Now that I actually got the colored contacts and put it on.. my vision is blurry.
I think it is because the contact lense is too big for my eyes?
My doc. never told me that a bigger size would make it really really blurry and unwearable.
uggghhh…. what should I do?
also, they don’t take opened boxes back and i just opened my boxes.
Also, does freshlook colorblend contact lenses come in one size?
And do doctors fit their patients’ eyes for the size of COLORED Contact lenses? IF so, how do they check? and why didn’t the doc. told me it was big???
The ones I have says 14.5

The change in base curve could account for your blurred vision. Give it a week. A lot of people have to wear them for a week before achieving their best vision. If you’re still having problems, schedule an appointment with your Optometrist. Also, what were you wearing before Colorblends? Good luck!
Hi,
Colored contact lenses are available as extended wear, disposable and daily disposable. Majority of colored contact lenses come in the form of soft lenses which are usually comfortable to wear and easy to adjust even for the first timer. In general, colored contact lenses are fun and safe to wear. However, if you feel uncomfortable and experience some irritation, you should contact your eye care practitioner immediately.
Take care.
You should go back to your optometrist and let them know about your symptoms (i.e. blurry vision). Most likely the rx is a little off, or you have astigmatism that wasn’t corrected for in the colored contact lenses. Most of the time clearest vision and best comfort comes with clear lenses, but if fitted properly colored lenses can be quite comfortable and contribute to great vision!
Good luck.
You probably have the colored part over your eye or it is on inside out. I would suggest just taking it out and putting it back in, or using a new pair.
I’ve been using Geo branded ones.
they also come in one size.
If you have astigmatism, a Altoof colour lenses dont correct it.
diameter shouldn’t be the problem – since there are lenses that can cover most of the eyes (costume ones)
Go bak to the optometrist – did they give you the same prescription since you said you tried on a sample pair and it was fine, but when you ordered your own it was different.
