How Can a Person Let Others Know That He or She Is Wearing Contact Lenses in the Event of an Accident?

I am thinking of a case where a person wearing contact lenses loses consciousness due to an accident or some other reason. It then becomes I amportant that the contacts be removed from the eyes. But how will the paramedics know that he is wearing them?

For those of you wearing contacts, what do you normally do? How about carrying a note in the pocket and hoping that somebody reads it?

If you are unconscious and hospitalized , the Dr’s or paramedics will check for that. It is easy to see when someone is wearing them.

I’m not trying to be rude but if u r in an accident then there are worse things than removing ur contacts, ya they may get stuck in ur eyes but getting to a hospital safely is more important in my book

It’s not that hard to tell because if you look closely at your eye, you can see the outline of the contact. Also, if you flash a flashlight on your eye, you could probably see the outline…

But quite frankly, I think contacts are the last thing that paramedics worry about.

If you’re really worried about it, you can put a note in your pocket.
