How Can I Get Contact Lenses?

I’m 15, and wear glasses for reading. Recently my eyesight has got worse and is often blurry. I know i need to go to the opticians but I am worried that i will have to wear glasses full tI ame. Im starting college in september and dont want to wear glasses, as they dont really suit me. Is there any way i could get contact lenses?
