I think you should buy a new pair, because even if you find it back, the chances are rather high you cannot use it anymore.
But the reason I respond is to warn you about wearing contact lenses in pools, lakes, rivers, and seas. Such water is usually full of bacteria, which could stick to the lens or get stuck between the lens and your eye. As a consequence, you can easily get an eye infection due to these bacteria’s (and maybe other dirt).
Besides that, it is very cheap to purchase swimming goggles with power (or full prescription). Sometimes you can buy them for under $ 20 (including delivery costs), like these: http://www.smartbuyglasses.com/frame-lens-deals/Swimming-Goggles/ONO-WG1300_B_C-Light-Blue-62177.html
I am convinced that wearing such goggles is much more convenient than running the risk of losing your contact lenses.
Hope this helps.
Just get a new pair. You should always have a back up pair.
You couldn’t pay me to stick those lenses back in my eye.
you may want to try skimming the ENTIRE pool. Goodluck
P.S. Turn OFF THE FILTER!!!!!!!!
and I hope its a small pool
its impossible to find it.
Depending on how big the pool is if its a kiddy pool just keep searching for something invisible and softbut if its a bigger pool forget about them there lost
deep in the water with your eyes VERY open and swim all around the pool.
walk around the pool or put on goggles and try not to make a big splash before going into the pool, but I’d suggest you get a new pair
I would think they float, so stop the filter ASAP and try using the pole skimmer. It’s prob just as easy as finding a needle in a haystack.
No way
Diligence.
Well for 1 you shouldnt wear contacts in the pool without goggles and 2 since you did loose them you probly dont wanna wear them again it will iratate your eyes and just chlorine is bad for conacts believe me i know from experience… just get a new pair and you’ll be good. Oh ya i dont think you could find them but i guess you might if you have smeone stand outside the pool and just skim the bottom you might catch a glimpse of them.
Hope this helps
sorry thats impossibe i couldnt even find my contacts that fell on the ground…
Difficult but not impossible. Obviously, clear lenses blend in with water. Now you could drain the water but youd have to strain every drop to locate contacts. I recommend applying a heat source to the pool water. Raise temp to boiling. Water will transform to steam and exit the pool. Once all water is steamed away, what do you have left? Contact lenses. Your welcome.
