Legally———- you can’t. All contact lenses (even those with no power) are controlled by the FDA and are viewed as drugs. That’s why ALL contact lenses have the following words on the container —— "Federal law prohibits dispensing without written prescription."
The web, there are loads of sites selling non script lenses.
Hey,
I have had coloured contacts – I did wear contacts anyway but the coloured ones come in standard no prescription form so that shouldn’t be a problem for you.
I would get them from an optician – if your current one don’t do them find out if they can recommend somewhere.
Having experience with contacts I think it is best to be shown how to put them in and out and how to clean them. If you put them inside out then your eye will get quite sore so the basics like this will be shown to you by a professional so you should have no problems!
They do work well so good luck!
I have brown eyes and had both blue and green sets at the time.
Yes you still need to see an optician because you have to get fitted or you can really damage your eye. Nobody wants that. You can still get them without a prescription when buying them from your optician.
