How Do I Get My Vision to Adjust to My New Contact Lenses?

I just got contact lenses for the first time last Friday. I am having some trouble with getting my eyes to stay in focus with them on. Is there something I can do to my lenses or do I just need to have my prescription adjusted? Please let me know.

It can be part of a natural astigmatism. As your eyes get used to the lenses, they should naturally adjust and get more into focus. If it is severe and lasting, maybe you should check with your optometrist and possibly change your prescription.

you may have the wrong prescription or maybe just in the wrong eyes. I had mine in the wrong eyes once and just could not focus. Make sure you have them in the right eye and if still a problem please see the doc this is not something to mess with. They might have order you the wrong strength.
