How Do I Read My Contact Lens Box to Figure Out What to Order?

i am a new contact lens wearer and i want to order new contacts but i don’t have the actual prescription i have the box they came in it reads:
-0.00 -0.75×180 I just want to get this right before i order them
bc 8.6 dia 14.2 i know what these numbers are

    -0.00 is the sphere
    -0.75 is the cylinder
    180 is the axis.(location of the astigmatism)
    base curve 8.6 (curvature of the lens)
    diameter (size of the lens)

    The contact lenses should have the brand on them as well you will need that when you place the order as well. You can request that the place you are ordering the lenses from contact your doctor to verify the prescription if you need to.

    They do this on purpose so you have to go back for a new prescription (and help the doctor pay for his/her BMW). Annoying or what? Wish I could help…

    you’re prescription should be power -0.75 bc 8.6 dia 14.2 … those are usually all the numbers u need unless you have a different prescription for each eye

    Contact your doctors office for the contact lens prescription. It is illegal in the states to order contact lenses without a doctors prescription. They are medical devices regulated by the FDA.
    You can get the numbers off the boxes but the place should still contact your doctor to verify your prescription.
