How Do I Read the Contact Lens Prescription?

I need help with the prescription. I have Sofmed 55 lenses and I can’t find the ‘power’ of the lenses on the box. It says D -2.00 BC 8.6 and DIA 14.2. I understand what the BC and DIA are for, but is the -2.00 the power? I just want to make sure before I order :)
