Gently pick up the contact and set it so it looks like a bowl sitting on top of your pointer finger. Make sure it’s moist so it won’t be dry and irritate our eye. Then, with the other hand, hold your eyelid open with your pointer finger and stretch the skin under your eye down with your thumb. Bring the pointer finger holding the contact up to your eye and gently place it in there.

the eye doctor should show you how to do it. but if not here are the steps:

      1. wash your hands
      2. take the contact lens and place it on your right index finger. so it looks like a bowl. make sure it is not inside out (you can tell it is inside out if the edges curl outwards a little)
      3. take your left hand and with your fingers, hold open your upper eyelid
      4. with your right middle finger, hold open your lower eyelid. make sure the lens is still on your finger
      5. look to the corner of your eyeball
      6. put the lens into your eye. right on the eyeball with your index finger. if it is too dry it might be uncomfortable so wet it before your put it in with contact lens solution never use water!!
      7. when the contact lens is in place, take your hands away, don’t rub your eye. blink a few times and roll your eyes around a bit it should automatically adjust itself and position comfortably in your eye. if not, take it out and put it back in

      to take it out:

      1. wash your hands
      2. open your upper eyelid with your left hand
      3. use your right hand middle finger to hold your lower lid open
      4. take your index finger and your thumb and gently squeeze the surface of your eyeball
      5. the contact lens should wrinkle and you should be able to take it out.
      6. if you can’t put some eyedrops in that you can use with contact lenses and try again.

remember to keep contacts in solution whenever you’re not wearing them

      good luck! hope i helped!!
