How Do You Convert Your Contact Lens Prescription to Something Like 20/200?

My current prescription is -5.00 (high I know). I know that yoyou can’t really convert it accurately but what’s a rough approxI amation? 20/100? 20/200? 20/300?

    Assuming your eyes are normal aside from the myopia , you are most likely in the 20/400 range..but that could vary more if you have any astigmatism, or even your pupil size can affect it.

    Provided that your eye is perfectly healthy -5.00 is the power your eye needs in front of it so that it can see 20/20. Without any correction your vision will be counting fingers (which is less than 20/400).
