    You need a prescription from an eye doctor.

    You can’t buy lenses without a valid prescription. If someone’s offering to sell them to you without a prescription, you’re taking a risk because you don’t know how safe or reliable the person/company is.

    The eye doctor also measures the curve of your eye to fit the contacts, so you shouldn’t get them without seeing an eye doctor.

    since you have muscles that change the shape of your eye, it’s very difficult for you to self diagnose the diopter correction you’ll need.
