Its actually really easy. Take your contact in your dominant hand. Make sure its on your index finger so it loos like a bowl. Then take your middle finger and pull down your lower eyelid and take the middle finger on your other hand and pull op the top lid. Then just plop in the contact. It will def take a few times [probably more than that] until your eye is used to it. [reflexes make it hard] then do the same with your other eye. hope this help =]
WAIT!! Never ever ever try to put on contact lenses without getting a professional fitting. You cant learn how to put on contact lenses over the internet. Either see your eye doctor or ask a friend who wears contacts to work with you for a while and teach you the proper way. If you just start sticking things in ur eyes, you WILL regret it.
I wear contacts occasionally. Soo.. first u need to make ur eyes wide open using ur right middle finger and left middle finger. put the contact on ur left ndex fingerand gently place it on ur eye. Then just move ur eye around to get it in place. Be sure ur contact is faced the correct way. I hope u understan the directions. You could also go to an optometrist near by an ask the doctor.
clean you eyes.Ide open it and put it.Hope i could help you.
I’ve been wearing contacts for about 6 months now and did so for about a year 20 years ago. I don’t know what type you are wearing but I wear Acuvue soft lenses and they are very comfortable. I have a hard time putting the right one on sometimes but it works out.
I don’t know if your optometrist showed you how to put them in, mine did and it isn’t hard.
First of all, I love contacts too! They’re great! But you’re right, it can be scary for people just starting out. First wash your hands. Take one contact out of the case and put it on your index finger. It helps to have your nails cut so you don’t poke yourself accidentally. Next dip your head down so your eyes can see the mirror, and pull your bottom eyelid down with your middle finger. Take your finger and poke it right next to your iris, the colored part. Move it onto the iris, close your eye, and poke your eyelid gently to remove air bubbles. Repeat for your other eye.
Taking them out is even easier than putting them in. Just pinch them off and put them in the case filled halfway with contact solution. It’s easy once you get used to it.
Note: My way of putting in contacts is different than others, but it won’t harm you in ANY way. Trust me.
open the contact container, wash your hands, pinch up the contact and make sure it’s rounded. If it looks rounded with the edges bent flat, it’s probably inside out and that hurts. I put the contact on my right index finger bc I’m right handed, then I hold open my eye, so the lashes won’t get in the way… I use both middle fingers to open the eye. while it’s wide open, stick the contact right over the center of your eye, then blink.
My optometrist says look good, feel good, see good.
If it irritates you, gets red, or you can’t see clearly, take them out and call your doc.
Hope this helps
Before you recieved them your optometrist or assistant should have shown you how to wear them..
I got contacts last year and I was there for almost an hour being taught how to put them in and take them out, and thankfully the girl teaching me didnt mind bc of all the flirting she was doing…
At first it was didfficult..but now I takes me less than 30 secs to pop them in
It took me 3 pairs for my eyes to get used to them. First, ask your eye doctor. Second, try in front of your eye doctor. Thrid only listen to people who have used contacts. There are many dangers of contacts. Be very careful.
ok… Put it on your finger tip. Gentlely pull down bottom eye lid and open up eye wide. Then carefully put it in. Please be careful. Good luck!
I suggest going to your local optomatrist office/glasses shop and get someone there to show you how to put them in. That’s what I did. They’ll help you practice and get it right, and usually it takes less than an hour to be able to get the contacts in and out easily. (However, it took longer for me and after an hour your eye starts to get a bit sore, so if you aren’t good at poking your eyes like me, then consider booking a few half-hour appointments instead of one big one.) Most places offer help for free, and it’s so much easier to have someone show you than having to mess around with contacts at home.
Wash your hands thoroughly. Make sure that when you dry them, no small fabric fibers stick to your hands.
Remove the contact from its case.
Place the contact in your palm. Drench it in contact solution and, using the index finger of your opposite hand, slowly rub it back and forth. Don’t rub in circles, as this creates tiny tears in the contact, which can, over time, form a rip.
Pour more contact solution onto the contact to rinse it from the oils in your fingers.
Carefully place the contact on your index finger of the hand you will be applying the contact with (Hand A). Make sure that all the outside edges are face up and none are sticking to your finger.
Using the middle finger of your opposite hand (Hand B), pull up your upper eyelid. Using the middle finger of Hand A, pull your lower eyelid down.
C Keep your eye all the way open and try not to blink.almly and steadily, move the contact torwards your eye. Try not to blink or move jerkily. Insert first the bottom edge, then the top into your eye. Using your finger, lightly move your contact in circles to make sure that it is fully in.
Blink slowly, as to not dislodge the contact. Take note of any pain or discomfort you may have. If you think that something may be wrong with your contact, remove and fully cleanse it, then try again.
Repeat with the other contact.
What kind are they? If there’s soft soft lenses you should have no trouble getting used to them. If they are semi-hard RGP you will probably only be able to wear them a few hours a day until your eyes adjust. Also I don’t recommend wearing when you sleep, I don’t care what the doctor says. Remove them each day and put them into the cleaning solution.
okay well first, make sure ur eyes are clean. make sure you have the contacts ready to put in. open ur eye wide, and put the contact on the tip of ur finger, and barely touch ur eye with it, and blink a lil bit, to make sure its in. and if they get dry, yuo shul go to the eye doctor or store and get the solution. it helps with dryness and much more. and you can leanback a ll bit too =]
Hey didn’t they teach you how ? OK..
To put them on:
1) clean it with the contacts cleanser and rub
2) open eye lid fully. The top with ur point finger (on the other hand) and the bottom with ur middle finger. (on the opposite hand.
3) Place the contact inside. Press it firmly to flatten.
To take em off:
Just simply open your eye lid and squeeze and pull.
Squeeze it and plop into ur eyes? i wna wear too! xD
what u do is u open up your eyes kinda wide and then u just put them in there i would reccomend one at a time but its up to u and it is the same way u take them out.
i hope i helped!!
