How Good Are the Eye Exam/glasses at Costco? Would You Recommend Getting an Eye Exam/glasses at Costco?

I check out their frames at Costco and they have pretty reasonable prices. The eye exam cost about , I think. Thats not so bad. Cheaper than other places. Is the eye exam at Costco good? Are the lenses/frames there better than places such as Wal-Mart, Target, LensCrafter, Sam’s, or Sear’s? Would you recommend it?

All the places that you have listed are all chains. The issue with these places is you never know what you are gonna get. It’s a gamble, kinda hit or miss. You don’t know how qualified these docs and opticians are. If your short on cash I say try them. Maybe ask a friend for a recommendation. If you have the money I would say go to a private doctors office. Someone with a good rep and that has been in business for awhile.
Call around do some price comparisons. For example, I have worked with docs who have the same background and ability. But, one charged half the price for his services and products.
