How Long Can I Wear My Contact Lenses for?

I have the daily ones. I wear them for school but some days I’m only at school for an hour or two and then I take them out – do I have to throw them away or can I preserve them for the next day since I didn’t wear them for very long? What about if I’m wearing them during the day and then take them out for a shower can I put the same ones back in or do I have to open a new one? I’m new to contact lenses so any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I wear monthly contacts, but I’m guessing that if you take daily ones out after a couple of hours you could put them in a solution and wear them again that day. I don’t know about the next day. And why are you taking them out to have a shower?
No to the first one and yes to the second. 24 hours after you open them throw them away.
If you are wearing daily contacts lenses, that’s exactly what that means 24 hours. Dispose of them after that. I’m not sure why you are handling them so much. Why not wear them for 6-8 hours, then dispose of them?
