How Long Can You Leave Contact Lenses in the Case?

I have regular 2 week contact lenses. SometI ames I don’t wear them for a week. How long can I leave them in the case without having to replace the solution?

It is recommended by the solution manufacturers that the solution be replaced every week even though you are not wearing them.
The solution loses it’s effectivness after a week, and can allow bacteria to start growing in the case.
I’ve been able to leave mine in the same solution for up to a month. Much more than that, the solution will start to dry up. As long as you keep them moist, they should be ok though.
