How Long Does It Take Between Placing an Order for Contact Lenses and Before They're Ready?

I’m planning to get contacts in the next day or so, but in slightly less than two weeks, I’ll be going overseas. Will my contact lenses be ready by then? Thanks.

It depends on your prescription and how big your eye doctor’s practice is. If it is on the weaker or average side and it’s a bigger place like Target or Walmart, they might have a couple of boxes in stock. Something like my prescription, which is very very strong with varying degrees of astigmatism is both eyes takes a couple of weeks to come in.
When you go to get them you need to let them know when you will be leaving and they can let you know how long it takes…I don’t know if glasses and contacts take the same amount of time but when i got my glasses last time it took two weeks..
