How Long Does It Take for Toric Contact Lenses to Ship???

It’s been 4 weeks since my eye appt., and ordered toric contact lenses thru my optometrist, but I still don’t have them. Optometrist says he will call when they come in, but 4 weeks seems way to long, used to be 5 business days. Anyone else have sI amilar problems with obtaining their contacts?
