How Long Does It Take Toric Contact Lenses to Come in?
Ok, first of all. My eye doctor is an idiot. And it’s taking my toric contact lenses a LONG tI ame to come in. My contacts are a strange prescription and they have to order them. I was just wondering how long it usually takes?

The worst ones I use take 2-3 weeks – they have to be individually made and it takes a while. These are for stronger prescriptions that are outwith the stock range.
Most stock lenses should just take 2 or 3 days – just the postage time basically.
If you have a strange prescription like you say then it wouldn’t be too unusual for them to take a few weeks.
Depending on your prescription, it could take up to 4 weeks for the contacts to come in. The higher your cylinder (astigmatism) the more likely they are to take awhile for them to come in because most companies do not keep them in stock, rather they are custom made for you.
astigmatic contacts with a low rx can be expected from an eyedoctor in 24 hrs. custom torics can take weeks. maybe u should have a spare pair or use disposable contacts so that u always have extras.
If the supplier has it in stock and it’s not back ordered, it takes anywhere between 3-5 business days to arrive. At least that’s how long it takes at my office.
