How Long Is My Contact Lens Prescription Good?
I use the day & night lenses. I forget is it good for a year or only six months?
I want to get 2 boxes before the years is up next month.

Typically, your contact lens prescription is good for a year, unless otherwise ordered by your Optometrist. Contact lenses are regulated by the FDA, just like any other drug, even if your contacts are plano colored lenses just for cosmetic purposes.
If your year is up next month, you should be fine ordering more now. If your Rx is almost due, some places won’t allow you to order more than a certain amount so that you don’t put off having your annual exam done.

You should change your prescription every year for contact lenses and 2 years for glasses.
