How Much Are Glasses at Walmart Vision Center?

So I am a broke college student in need of new glasses. How much will the exam, frames and lenses all come out to be? Let’s say I’m going for about mid-priced frames. I’ll probably also be getting contacts so how much is all this going to cost me? And is Target going to be better?
Thanks everyone!

an exam is about 50. cheapest frames including setting them are 38 (9/frame + 29/add presciption to lens) so around 88 but if you want mid priced frames it probably would be about 150.

contact exams are about 80 i dont know if theres a fitting cost or not, but lets say theere isnt, contacts range from 20-50/box

To save money, def get your eyes examined at Walmart, and then try on some frames and find one that you like. Then ask to take your prescription home with you and e-mail info@replacementlensexpress.com with the frame information (found on the side of the frame) and your prescription. They specialize in the lenses, which you’ll see lots of on their site, but they don’t show too many frames on their site. They can get anything for you at wholesale though. I got single vision lenses for $25 and they gave me a great deal on some Ray-Bans that I found at Walmart and only charged me $73. They are based in CT and their turn-around time is less than a week (at least it was for me). Check out their website but then e-mail them to discuss pricing and what you want: http://www.replacementlensexpress.com

Yes, take your eye exam at walmart as they can be quite cheap in that department but when you get your prescription, order your glasses online. Nowadays, online glasses ordering is very cheap and quite safe too. The selection of styles is also enormous. I mean, glasses online can go for as cheap as 15$, so it’ll be perfect for college students such as yourself.

If you’re new at buying glasses online I suggest going here:

Great support and very cheap prices. Every frame comes with the prescription lenses, so all you need is that prescription from your doctor.

      Good luck!
