How Much Do Colored Contacts Cost?

I currently have hazel eyes but i want to get green colored contacts. I want to know how much it will cost. It can be with a prescription or just for cosmetic reasons. Also, does insurance cover contacts? My insurance covers my glasses but I am not sure about contacts.
Do I have to get fitted for contacts or can I just order them online using my current prescription for glasses.

It really depends on what Brand you use, and how much your doctor’s office charges, which varies from place to place on everything from not only the visit/exam itself but to the price of glasses. Since you already have a need for glasses it would probably be best to just go ahead and get the Rx Contact Lenses, which will allow you to show off your GREEN eyes, but keep your glasses handy in case your contacts get irritated.
And yes you must get fitted for contacts. And if you order your contacts online, they still must have your prescription for the strength needed, which is different from your glasses.
