How Much Do Colored Prescription Contact Lenses Usually Cost?

I have brown eyes and I want green contacts. And I can’t see anything clearly without my glasses unless its like eleven inches from my face.
How much is the exam?
How much are the lenses?
Or will my medicaid cover it?
Is their a certain age you have to be to get contacts? Because I heard that you had to be over 14. Thanks!

It costs the same. When I went to my eye doctor I got a prescription for both clear lenses and color lenses. No extra charge. Now the actual color lenses do cost a bit more than the clear lenses.

Medicaid would not cover the lenses. They would only cover one pair of eyeglasses. They will however cover the eye exam. The lenses are I believe around 28.00 a box. Ie. 56.00 for both eyes, with 6 lenses in each, each one is supposed to be used for a week.

Hi cuti, take a look at the WAICON brand of colored lenses.
I have them in annuals which work out much better value than monthly’s.
The colors are amazing in masking dark eyes like nothing else on the market.
I sell them from my online store in Australia and ship worldwide.
