How much to contact lenses generally cost. I’ve been wearing glasses for like 4-5 years and I plan on getting contacts soon. But I was wondering how much a year’s supply would cost?

My exam was $40 … The contacts were $205 for a 6 months supply.
So yes, expect well over tha America’s Best advertised price of $69 for two paid of glasses, haha … but it can be way cheaper if you dont have serious eye issues..
You can go to 800contacts.com (who advertise to be the cheapest but aren’t always the case) and click on random contacts and see prices …
Good news is .. since i still like my glasses ..I only bought 6 months supply and they last me for the entire year.
Expect to pay a bare minimum of at least $180.00. They aren’t cheap. Not to mention the added cost of exams and cleaning liquids, tablets, enzymes, etc.
depends on your need. do u have astigmatism? if u do they are costlier. i pay 40 dollars for each eye because i have different powers. they are so worth it though!
my contact lenses were free coz i found them form eddy’s house and the fitted me perfectly soo they smelll bad which is odd contact lenses do not smell!!! they were free for mee
