How Much Does It Cost for Taking Eye Exam?

I wanna get contacts and I need to go to the doctor. How much would it approximately cost for taking eye exam? I don’t have health insurance.

      Most general eye exams would be around $50-80. With contacts, I know that my old eye doctor used to charge a $75 "sitting fee" to measure the dimensions of your eye, etc on top of that. After contacts and everything I would say just to be safe, budget $200-300.
