yess how much does it cost for just the prescription..or does it cost anything at all? and how long does it take to get the prescription if you want the colored contacts?

It can get pretty pricey. It depends on the brand of contacts that you’re wanting, the doctor you go to, and your specific prescription. Firstly, you will have to go to a doctor to make sure that you can wear contacts and he/she will let you try on different colors (it’s pretty fun, I did it one time). Then you have a doctor’s fee (usually $75-$90)…. that’s not even including the contacts! If you order the contacts through the doctor’s office, you will pay A LOT more; especially for colored contacts. I order my contacts from Vision Direct.com and they usually arrive in about two days. If you get lucky, you can even get free shipping!
