How Much Will I Pay When I Go See an Optometrist for an Eye Exam/prescription?
I am 100% sure I need glasses. I used to have 20/20 with a little difficulty with distance vision. Its gotten worse now; I have blurry vision that I thought was normal but its not.
My health insurance does not specify a thing about vision benefits. How much will I pay?

It depends on where you live. In the US, it is usually under $100. Then you have to pay for your frames and lenses which may be another $200 or so.
an eye exam is nearly always free, but to actually get the glasses you have to pay.
In the UK it’s about £15, but sometimes there are ‘special offers’. Probably worthwhile asking the normal optometrists if they have a special deal for you. No harm asking!
Unfortunately you might have to pay full if no one will work your insurance, but since YOU NEED glasses you should talk with customer service to arrange a payment plan (keep in mind it could be a lot).
Second alternative:
Contact your insurance company and ask for specific details about what is covered (yeah I would do this first)
GOOD LUCK MAN!
I would first call your insurance company and ask them. If not you will have to pay in full for the exam and any glasses which prices will vary depending where you go. Also call them and ask how much it would be.
