I was just wondering how old u need to be to wear contact and how old should u be?

Ask the eye doctor. I say, atleast 13
I just asked my Eye doctor that question he said girls 12 boys 14
mostly because boys are rough on things.

if you dont like glasses than dont wear them getcontacts
any age probably 12 at the youngest i guess thats when my niece started wearing them
idk but i know some people started wearing them when they were 12
I’d go by maturity rather than age. If you’re mature enough to be able to take care of them every day, put them in and take them out and not stab your eye out.
PROBABLY NO YOUNGER THEN 12. I THINK 12 IS A GOOD AGE BECAUSE YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE AND WILL KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE OF THEM. THEY LOOK PRETTY TRICKY TO PUT ON. ^_^

13 i guess sometimes i wear brown contacts to cover up my blue left eye & green right eye because brown eyes are pretty but you need to handle them & not poke your eyes so much & don’t let noone puch you because if they do they will go inside & scratch your eyes.I wear cosmetology they aren’t prescription just to change color for fun!But there is prescription which your eye docter prescribes for you!Hope this helps!!!
I don’t really think it matters how old you are, but you should wear glasses for at least a year before thinking about contacts. Also, one of my sister’s friends said that when she talked to her eye doctor about contacts, the doctor asked her if she kept her room clean. This was a way, I guess, to determine whether or not she was responsible enough to wear contacts.
This situation deals more with maturity than age.
I started wearing contacts when I was 13, and starting High School.
Contacts are a challenge for the younger ages, as it was for me.
If you’re dealing with a responsible and mature youth over the age of about 12 or 13, I would say, GO FOR IT!
Before doing that, I would ask them how interested in contacts they are on a scale of 1-10. I personally was a 9, but that’s only because I was playing football (and glasses are a pain in the butt!!). If the number stated is under 5 or 6, then maybe they should put off contacts until they’re a little older.

Ask the eyedoctor but you should at least be wearing your glasses for awhile before you should get contacts. Also, it depends on what your parents say. But I got my contacts when I was 10 or 11 because both my parents and eyedoctor said it was okay
Really I don’t think it’s a certain age when me and my mom went to the eye doctor, for my contacts he said his daughter started wearing contacts at 11. It just depends on the person and there parents. At first my mom didn’t think I could handle contacts. But there not hard to handle, you just gotta be comfortable touching your eyes. But I think about 13 or 14 is good, but if you feel you can do it even younger( then go for it), it wouldn’t hurt to try.
I started at 12. But you have to be responsible. I was… and still am, so I haven’t had any problems. I would ask your parents to talk to a doctor about what would be right for you! =)
I got them at the age of 12 and that was in the late 90′s.
I think 11 or 12 (but I’ve heard of 10) if the child is mature and can handle things. I’ve also heard that they’ll give girls contacts at a younger age than boys because they feel that the girls can handle them better.
