How Old Were You When You First Started Using Eye Glasses or Contact Lenses ?

My eye sight is getting worse every year.
I’m just wondering how old were you when you start using eye glasses or contact lenses ?
After start wearing eye glasses, is there a possibility that your eye sight improve so you don’t have to wear it anymore or just gets worse each year.

When I was 13…and i am 15 now
I started wearing glasses when I was around 7 and contacts when I was 16 (one of the best decisions of my life)
My personal experience is that my eyesight seems to get worse…but only a tiny bit with each visit. I’m not ann optometrist so I don’t know if it’s possible for it to get better. (without some sort of laser surgery)
i started using glasses when i was 8 and contacts at 12.
it gets better if you use them like your doctor tells you to.
glasses – preschool but i only needed them for reading.
5th grade when i needed to wear them all the time
contacts – 8th grade
your eyes will not improve with glasses, it will only make it so you can actually see. if you want your eyes to improve, you will need to get lasik
I got them when I was in elementery, I asked the doc the same thing this year and he told me it’ll keep getting worse untill my eyesight stops growing generally around my twenties.
Started wearing glasses at age 43. I suppose it’s possible that ones eyesight can get better but that has not been my case. I’ve had several sets of new glasses and each has been stronger than the last. i dont wear glasses but your eye sight inproves when u wear glasses for a while
