My eye sight is getting worse each year.
I’m just wondering when to start using glasses or contact lenses.
How old were you when you start using glasses or contact lenses ?
Is there any difference between them ?
Please give me some advice where to start.

I got my contacts when i was 12.. they are amazing!! when you first get them, its a bit tricky to put them in (it took me 2 hours, because i was scared to touch my eye :p) but it you have no problem with touching your eye.. they are thee best!! I got glasses when i was like 10, and i wanted contacts for 2 years until i actually got themm (:

i wear contacts now for nearly a year i’m 16 nearly 17.
you usually are a little different in contacts and your glassess perscription.
go immediately to the doctor and ut some glasses or you’ll be totally blind You can put them at any age if you need them
I got glasses in 4th grade, and contact lenses in 6th which was my first year of middle school.
Glasses are good if you are younger, since you don’t have to worry about putting them in or having them fall out. If you are older though, glasses can be pretty annoying. With glasses, you can only see straight ahead. If you want to see up, down, right, or left, you have to turn your entire head since the glasses are just in front of your face. They are also inconvienient if you like to swim or go to the river, because they fall off.
Contacts are better if you are older, I started when I was 12. At first, they require a lot of patience because for about the first week you will have a lot of trouble getting them in. If you are easily frustrated they may not work out so well. If you’re a kid, I like the daily contacts, that you throw away every night. There are also 24-hour contacts that yo actually don’t take out for a month, i think, or contacts that you have to take out every night and clean them for a week or month, those are the hardest to deal with i think, just because mine fall out often.
Even if you are getting contacts, I would suggest getting a plain pair of glasses to wear at night after you take out your contacts, if one of your contacts falls out and you don’t have an extra, or you get pink eye or something that requires you not to wear contacts.

yea right now i have glasses and they keep getting worse to so I’m going to go get them checked out . btw i am 13 and i got them when i was 12 in 6th grade. there is a difference, if you look good with glasses like you need something on your face to make it fuller or something then go with the glasses. if you think you look better without glasses then i would go with contacts. i have glasses and my friends say that i look better with glasses. i think I’m going with glasses.

i went to the doctor as soon as my sight started to get blurry and that was when i was 12.so at first i got glasses but then when i found out that there were contacts for your vision,i got them and they’re actually pretty comfortable once you get used to them so it dont really matter…
i went to the eye doctor on wendsday and im nearsided and i have to get glasses to see words from har away and im still waiting for them, and im 13
I started wearing glasses at 10, but i hated them so i only wore them when i really needed to see the board. And, I started wearing contact lenses, today actually, i got my first pair! And i’m 12, btw. I would go for contacts, Personally for me, I can’t feel a thing in my eye, people told me that you would kind of feel somthing in your eye for a while but i don’t feel anything, and i’ve been wearing them for 3 hours now, lol.
