How to Convince My Mom to Get Me Contact Lens?

I heard my friend said that a year supply is like 30 something dollars but I’m not sure. So is it actually better than glasses or not? Is it dangerous to wear contact lens? or like can I buy just one pair of contacts just to see what happened and maybe to show to my mom I can take care of them?

I’m almost in the same situation. Except I need contact lenses because if I play tennis in glasses I can’t serve properly. Try to explain to your mom that contact lenses are better because with them any where you look will be clear, unlike glasses where if you look above the frame you can’t see clearly. This worked for me and my parents are getting me contacts in January.
I’ve been wearing contacts since i was in 6th grade. (im in highschool now) its not dangerous at all to wear contacts unless you rub your eyes alot then the contact could get stuck somewhere. you can even go to walmart and they have a vision center and you can get a trial pair of contacts to see how you like them. i prefer my contacts because glasses get in the way. a year suppy would most likely be more than $30. the workers at the vision center will teach you all about how to take care of them and how to put them in. in a week you will be putting them in like a pro.
