Glasses can break = more expense!
Glasses can scratch = more expense!
Glasses can get lost = more expense!
Glasses are not as attractive as a pretty face without them = unhappy wearer!
Glasses are heavy and uncomfortable on the nose & ears = unhappy wearer!
Glasses make you cry and complain!

Tell her that will give you self confidence and that its safter than glasses. Glasses can get broken and smashed into your eye and a never get cleaned often.

Contacts come every two weeks i think very clean and can be replaced easily. Less expensive then buying a new pair of glasses every time they brake.

my dad said that when i keep my glasses for 3 month i get contacts. And i did

My daughter asked for contacts from the time she was about 10. I let her have them when she was 14. You have to prove yourself to be responsible, there is a lot to learn about wearing contacts, not to mention the expense. There are supplies, replacements if you lose/tear one. Are you generally a responsible person? Do your homework or chores without being told? Are you constantly losing or misplacing your things? When my daughter showed me that she could be mature in other areas, that’s when I decided it was time to trust her with contacts.

Contacts can be very convenient because you don’t have to worry about them breaking (but they can rip…and if they rip in your eye, it hurts!) or falling off or anything. Plus, they let everyone see your pretty face. But contacts can be just as troubling. They are a hassle to take out and put in every day (if you forget, bad things happen!) and aren’t supposed to be worn while swimming. They are expensive and if you forget to put them in solution, they’ll dry out and can’t be worn. There is a lot of responsibility needed to properly take care of your contact lenses and your mom has her reasons. Just be patient, and you’ll be able to wear them soon enough. :D
