How to Read My Contact Lenses Prescription?

I’m having a little trouble reading it and I’ve tried researching it on the internet however mines is different..well just the beginning where it says Rm and B instead of OD and OS? Well anyways this is what it says:

Rm – 2.25 – 0.75 X 10
B – 2.50 – 0.75 X 165

Am i reading it right? and what do they stand for? And if possible, can anyone tell me where I would be able to purchase contact lenses online?

Thanks a lot

It must be just badly scribbled on your prescription.

The first line is always OD..or…R ( right )
    2nd is OS or L ( left )

The problem here though is that you don’t have a contact lens prescription, that is for glasses. I can tell by the axis on the left eye. 165 axis doesn’t exist in contacts.

A contact prescription must also have the brand that has been prescribed for you, plus the base curve and diameter of the lenses.

You will most likely require Toric lenses for the astigmatism, so that means a more complicated fitting has to be done.

Sorry, but you won’t be able to order contacts with that prescription at online sites. They verify with the Dr. that the prescription is a valid one for contacts first.

Besides, you can’t possibly guess at what brand you need, or the curvature needed.
