I Am a Baseball Player and Need Comfortable Contacts for Astigmatism. Recommendations?

I use bausch and lomb purevision torics and they are really uncomfortable and feel heavy. any suggestions for contacts I can wear for astigmatism/baseball that are comfortable?

    Yeah, the Purevision Torics are a pretty uncomfortable lens (and are really only any use for extended wear – there’s no point in wearing them for daily wear – and they are expensive).

    The best lenses IMO are the Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism and the Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism.

    Both are silicon blend lenses (like the Purevision) but a much softer formulation so are waaaay more comfortable.

    The new Biofinity Toric from Coopervision is pretty good too – and a little cheaper.

    Any of those 3 would be miles more comfortable than what you have right now.

    Only your doctor can make changes to the type of contacts you wear. Have you discussed the discomfort with him/her?
