I Am a Speckie and Plan to Buy a Goggle. Can I Wear a Contact Lens and Wear the Powerless Goggle? Is That Safe?

Or I have to settled with a powered goggle? But I prefer to wear contact lens & wear powerless goggle…has anyone tried that? Is it safe for the eyes?

i wear my contacts all day long and swim with the swedish goggles. i don’t have any problems, other than sometimes my eyes feel a little dry after swimming for 2 hrs.
I’ve never had perscription goggles, but I wear my contacts in the pool with goggles when I am swimming and they work out fine when I surf and play water polo w/o goggles. It really depends on your perscription, but I think for the most part you should be fine. In fact I notice that my eyes get less irritated with contacts than w/o contacts when I’m w/o goggles.
It should be fine! My friend has prescription goggles though. He swims quite a lot.
I would get special ones if i used them 2 or more times a week.
