I Am Hoping to Get Contact Lenses.. Could I Get Ideas on the Prices?

I am on a budget.. I don’t wear glasses or contacts now, but I know I need to. I just want to get an eye exam as quickly as possible and was wondering how much it would cost. I want contact lenses.
From what I hear I need to get an eye exam and get contact fitting. Is this everything I need or are there other costs I should be looking at? I just would like a ballpark figure to about how much I am going to initially spend to get contact lenses. All help is appreciated, thanks!

Well do you have insurance? I went the the one in Walmart and the exam + contact fitting was like 115. And the contacts I’m gonna get are priced 49.99 per box. I’m sure all this will be cheaper with insurance.

Do any of your relatives or friends wear contacts? That would be a good place to start. The price for a fitting would depend on if you have insurance coverage or not so it is hard to give you a price.
