I Just Bought Some Colored Contacts Online, Why Would They Make My Vision Blurry?

Ok so I just bought my first pair of colored contacts online, and I can’t see through them clearly. It’s hazy. It’s almost as though my eye is trying to see through the color part (violet). So it blurs my vision. What’s up? Does anyone know anything about colored contacts? I have worn clear contacts for years, so I know they are put in right and are clean. They don’t hurt or anything. They feel normal, but I just can’t see clearly through them.

They probably just don’t fit you right and are sliding too far off to one side. Color lenses often don’t fit the same as a clear lens, even when all the measurements are the same.

Had you tried them on at the Dr’s office first to make sure of the curvature needed in that brand ?…or if that brand of lens would work for you at all ?

If not, and you just ordered them on your own, then you are stuck with them.
