If I Buy a Tamron Lens Off EBay, What Will Happen with the Warranty?
Alright, I’m planning to buy the Tamron 90mm Macro from seller "digital-rev-access" on eBay.
It comes with a seven year Mack international warranty. According to Mack (the company that provides the warranty) the lens needs to have a valid manufacturer’s warranty of at least 90 days for the Mack warranty to be valid. What I can’t seem to find out, is will the lens come with a manufacturer’s warranty at all?
PS: I live in Canada… I can’t find any contact info for Tamron Canada.
And unfortunately, buying locally is not an option… The cheapest price I can find is 9+tax… 6 – close to 0 more than eBay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you don’t have the original warranty that the lens comes with, you can’t "add on" the Mack’s one.
Have you gotten an answer from the seller? Are they responsive? (Does it take forever to hear from them?) What is their rating? Is the item brand new? Is it gray-market?
