You heard wrong. Colored lenses for changing the color of the eyes are never hard lenses. The rigid lenses are much too small to be used for that.

Colored lenses are always soft lenses.

The only colored lenses for astigmatism are the Freshlook Toric lenses , but the powers available are very limited, and they don’t go very high.

Sorry, but you are probably out of luck as far as colored lenses go.

Theres a special lens called the toric – u can get them colour and for astigmatism.

    good luck!

Yes there are special ones. Ask your optometrist.

Hi! I have pretty bad astigmatism too, and I asked my eye doctor, and she said that there were special contacts called tonic, but they’re really expensive and hard to come by, so she suggested to keep with the regular contacts. But I’m sure they will come out with colored contacts for astigmatism in a little while!

Yes. You can get toric contact lenses (torics are specifically for astigmatism). And they come in colors just like the regular ones – but they are significantly more expensive than non-toric color contacts.

BTW you can get soft color contacts – even in torics.
