like if you went to a hair store and bought a pair will they mess up your eyes or harm them in anyway? and would it be safe to buy some?

I would not recommend buying contact lenses from a hair store, beauty store, corner store, dollar store, etc. If you are just looking to find a better deal on contacts, just order them online from somewhere like Coastal Contacts. Then you know you are getting them from a reputable store and that they are not knockoff lenses that can cause infections, etc. Buying online is much cheaper than buying from the doc, and much safer than buying from a salon.
i guess it would be okay, but it would be better if u ask your doctor
You should only buy colored contacts from an optometrist. The ones sold anywhere else could lead to eye infections.

also color contacts are thicker than regular contacts so they will feel un-comfortable
I wouldn’t wear them. It could hurt your eyes and cause damage. But ,to go to an eye professional to make sure they fit and wont harm your eyes.

i’ve been wearing colored contacts ever since highschool. i used to wear them everyday. but now i only wear them on occasions. didn’t hurt my eyes except for the occasional misplacements.
