My vision is really bad, but I want to wear colored contacts. What are the disadvantages of it?

1. If your eyes are really bad they may not make your exact prescription, and you will have to accept something close.
2. Colored contacts block off a little of your side vision because you can’t see well through the colored area around the lens periphery.

There aren’t many disadvantages if you buy prescription, colored contacts. They work the same as clear contacts. However, when you take them off people will know your real eye color. Make sure to keep the contacts clean in order to avoid infection.
