Any contacts can damage your eyes. The chances go up for colored lenses. Many are not properly fit. People wear them without being properly instructed on how to care for them. The best, safest, most comfortable lenses are not available in colors.
any contact lenses or even sunglasses that arnt gray in color can damage your eyes over a long period of time. grays are neutral colors so they dont damage your eyes but any amber, red, blue, ect… can over time
Any contact lens regardless of whether it is a clear or colored contact lens can damage your eyes if you do not care for them properly or over wear them. If you care for your lenses and wear them as prescribed by your doctor you should be ok.
