Looking for a Reasonably Priced, Contact Lens Exam Place in San Antonio TX.

I am looking to purchase new contact lenses.(Have been wearing them for many years) Now that I have no insurance, I find that the optometrists are sky high. A few i called today, one of them wanted 0 and another . Just for the exam! I usually buy my lenses elsewhere at a better rate, but these optometrists seem to be raping the consumer if they decide not to pay for thier packet deals. So…can anyone from San Antonio TX refer me to reasonably priced contact lens exam, just so that I can get my prescription? I donot want no -300 package deal, just the prescription. Thanks!

check a local walmart for the doc at their store…my daughter had a contact exam for $120..not saying it will be the same there..but thats a good deal..we called around and most were closer to the $200 mark..
Dr Jose San Martin at South Park Mall is very reasonable and professional. My daughter went there and he was over 80.00 less than other places.
