I tried ordering my color contact lenses from a website and they said they could not verify my prescription with my optician. I’m not sure if they’ve charged my card as the email did specify, and don’t seem to be answering my e-mails. What do I do? If they did charge it, could I get a refund?

I just got contacts a few weeks ago and I’m planning on jet skiing and such tomorrow. Is it possible that my contacts could fly out of my eyes or get to dry? What if I wore sunglasses too? I would just really prefer to be able to see. Thanks.

ive been wearing freskon non-degree coloured contact lens..this week its gonna be expire and will be 1 month soon…this contact ive bought only can last for a month..but I am not sure abt the solution in the bottle can last..i still have half of the amount left…when i bought it at the shop..the sales person said that the contact lens can last for a month…but he did mention how long the solution in the bottle last..but i didnt manage to remember it…i was wif my frend at that tI ame..and she sae she heard the person says that the solution will last for 2 months…i ask her how she can be so sure ..she said more than 50% sure…now..since my contact gonna get expired..i planned to buy a new contact lens…2 things i wanna ask frm u guys..is it true the freskon solution expires within 2 months?if yes… isit ok for me to buy a new contact lens and used the current solution that last for 2 months?
another question…is the contact lenses valid for one month( if its meant to be disposable for 1 month) after the seal being opened ???

I live in the UK & had a contact lens assessment at D&A. I was given sample lenses to try for a week. The eye dr checked the lens fit & everything seemed fine. I ordered a three month supply & then asked for my prescription to keep for reference. They refused to give it to me, stating that my prescription is not yet "final" and said I had to come back in 3 months to check the lenses/fit due to regulation change 18 months ago. I have not experienced this before. Is this true or do you think they were trying to extract additional ££ from me by stringing me along to buy more contact lenses from them?

I have astigmatism in my right eye, and on the package that my toric contact lens came in, it says -0.00 -3.75 x015.

What is my exact prescription? A girl I know says her prescription is -8. How can it be one number when mine is three?

Anyways, that prescription is only for my right eye. I don’t have astigmatism in my left eye. So would you say that my prescription is -3.75 (for my right eye)? Or do you have to figure it out from those three numbers somehow..?
Actually Kritten, my eyesight in that eye is 20/80, or it was a couple years ago anyway.

I have two different colored eyes, one really dark brown and one green/hazel. I’ve been looking at getting colored contacts, sI amply to try out having two normal eyes for awhile. I really want to buy circle lens contacts because they look really cute and cool, but I don’t know where to buy them at? I also don’t have bad eye sight, that is why I want nonprescibed ones. My eye doctor wrote +175 for the sphere of my right eye. Is it really +175 or actually +1.75? I am trying to order contact lenses online and i realized the highest power i can select for contact lenses is +9.00
