My eye doctor wrote a prescription for Freshlook Colorblends, what if I decided to get the clear ones instead, would that be possible? or do I have to get another prescription from the doctor?
Thanks for the answers. So, if I wanted a different brand for the clear lenses, I need to get a new prescription? Does anyone know what’s the best brand for clear contact lens?

HI, I am 13. I have a bad long distance eye problem and have been wearing glasses for over 2 years but my eyes keep getting worse. Anyway, more to the point, I dont like wearing glasses and want to wear contact lenses but I was told by an optometrist that I am too young. But I know people my age and younger who wear them and they haven’t had any trouble. I am very responsible and hygenic but am I too young??

So, I am getting colored contacts soon. My cousin already got some contacts. He got hazel, light brown, and grey mixed. They look so natural on hI am. We went to the mall and many people were complementing hI am on his eyes. Not one suspected they were contacts. Why do you think it is fake to wear colored contacts?

I can’t remember my contact lens prescription to order more. I’m pretty sure it was 8.5/9. My question is, does this sound right, does it sound like an actual prescription? I went to my eye doctor this week and was given Freshlook color contact lenses in green to try on for a few days. It’s not my first pair because I wore bausch & lomb clear lenses for over a year, but it’s my first tI ame wearing colored. When I wear Freshlook my eye get really dry, irritated, & I have a hard tI ame putting in the lenses because they are so thin, yet 2x bigger compared to my clear ones. I blink constantly and feel like when I close or blink the contacts are shifting! I’ve never had this much trouble- they’re so uncomfortable. So, I am going back this Tuesday to get a different brand. I think acuvue colors are next ANYONE OUT THERE EXPERIENCE THE SAME? ANY ADVICE ON PRESCRIPTION COLORED CONTACTS APPRECIATED THANKS!! =D

I just went to get my eyes checked, and the doctor said that my eyes are in really great health, and that I have 20/20 vision. Or at least it is close, because he said i do not need glasses. However, he told me that i do have a slight or small astigmatism, but it’s not bad enough to actually affect my vision. How is this possible, and will the astigmatism get worse over tI ame causing me to need glasses in the future?
